Workshop & Tour with Jackie Kramer Photography, LLC (JP LLC)


By signing up for this workshop, each participant agrees to the terms and conditions as outlined herein.


Number of Participants:

This trip is guaranteed if the minimum number has been reached. The maximum number of participants is limited although Jackie Kramer Photography, LLC (JKP, LLC) reserves the right to add a reasonable number at their discretion. 



Participants are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms and are strongly encouraged to do so as early as possible. Hotels typically do not hold rooms for us and usually have a limited number of rooms that are part of the group block. 



Airfare is the responsibility of the participant. Travelers should arrange to arrive the day before the workshop begins. You may wish to arrive early or stay afterwards and spend time exploring on your own. There is something for everyone at all locations!



Weather and other circumstances outside of our control may call for a change in plans. Every effort will be made to visit the gardens just prior to the tour to determine whether any changes to our destinations need to be made. 


Payment Schedule:

All workshops and tours must be paid in full at time of registration unless otherwise specified on the registration form.


Cancellations and Refunds:

JKP will do everything to make sure that all workshops meet and exceed the expectations of all participants. A full refund will be paid to clients already registered if the trip does not meet its minimum number. JKP, LLC reserves the right to insert a substitute workshop leader should she become incapacitated. 


If an extreme event such as widespread illness, weather, war, unrest, or other act of God, affects this trip, JKP will do their best to reschedule or modify the trip (date, location, and/or convert to a virtual event) if it is determined to be in the best interest of participants. In that situation, JKP, LLC is not responsible for any costs or expenses, such as airfare, visas, or any other costs associated with planning for this trip.  In such case, Jackie Kramer Photography, LLC shall provide all workshop registrants prompt notice by email.


 If JKP, LLC makes the decision to convert the in-person workshop to a virtual event, they will do their best to include all of the same speakers and content. The event will be recorded and made available for a period of one year. If it should happen that a rescheduled in-person workshop is still unable to take place due to a Force Majeure event/circumstance, all registrants from the original event will be given access to the same online series as they were originally offered, specifically Macro Masters Spring or Macro Masters Summer 2020.


Be sure to purchase comprehensive travel insurance and check to make sure you are fully covered not only for your airfare and lodging, but also for registration fees. 


If you find yourself in a situation where you must cancel your participation in the workshop, we will do our best to minimize the impact, however, please understand that there are significant costs that have been incurred in setting up tours and workshops. Refunds will only be granted for those who locate a replacement themselves, less a $100 transfer fee.


All replacements must be in writing (email or written letter) with confirmation of receipt by JKP and refunds will be provided at the start of the trip, less a $100 transfer fee, only if the participant (NOT JKP, LLC) finds a substitute who pays in full at the prevailing price and does not cancel. 


Travel Insurance:

Because unanticipated circumstances can occur, you are strongly encouraged to purchase insurance. Please note that many policies require that you purchase insure within 15 days of booking your trip and making the deposit. There are several companies that offer this, however, we cannot vouch for any of them. 


It is highly recommended that you purchase insurance that covers airfare, lodging, medical emergencies, registration fees, and camera equipment insurance. Because of the changing marketplace, I suggest that you conduct research immediately after registering to determine the best carriers for you. Note that it might require multiple policies. 



JKP is not responsible for any incidents or accidents that may occur in transport, in the gardens or any other establishment. That includes, but is not limited to delays, injury, loss or damage of camera gear or other property.  JKP, LLC is also not assuming any liability related to illness resulting from any meals or from exposure to chemicals, bugs, noise, or any other nuisance. Likewise, participants assume full responsibility for all personal items, computers, baggage, and camera gear at all times. Please make sure all airline and government rules and restrictions are researched in advance to avoid any unavoidable problems.


JKP, LLC retains the right to refuse service to any individual at any time before the start date or during the event. This may be due to uncivil behavior toward me or others, complaints from other workshop participants, or safety concerns. There will be no refunds paid if this is invoked and it is the responsibility physically and financially for the individual to remove themselves immediately from the workshop if this occurs.



Participants grant permission to JKP, LLC to use any quotes and images for promotional materials.

Effective Date and Updates

The Terms are effective as of June 09, 2020 and are subject to change without notice by Jackie Kramer Photography, LLC at any time. Please print the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of your registration.
